Lashes to Swim With!

Want to keep up appearances even if you are poolside? Jenna Treat tells us the best mascaras to use as well as her favourite camomile eye make-up remover.

Liner Effect Mascara Bourjois Waterproof Mascara

Sensible:

Bourjois Paris Liner Effect Waterproof Mascara £10.49 (available Amazon).Great for an easy to achieve, lush lash result. Stays put but needs a little extra effort to remove i.e. really is waterproof.

Splurge:

Lancome Definicils Mascara £21.0Splurge:

Définicils Waterproof High Definition Mascara (Available at all Lancôme counters and Boots beauty boutiques).
Very easy to apply due to a very well designed brush. Light coat=natural, which may suit our fair skinned reader. A heavier coat=doe eyed look, which is great for kicking it into evening mode. I found both brands layerable(where most waterproofs are not) and I liked the tenacity of both..they are definitely waterproof.

Body Shop waterproof eye make-up remover

Remover:
The only Body Shop item I use (for 20 years running!!) is their Camomile eye make up remover. They have just added a Waterproof gel version to their range which is fantastic, very gentle and costs £7.00. Its also comes in a handy 60ml tube,so perfect for hand luggage, so you won’t have to witness it being confiscated by some officious airport security person.

* Take a bit longer, and always be a bit gentler when removing any eye makeup. This one works beautifully and painlessly.
